The Texas Craft Brewers Festival returns, featuring 79 Texas craft breweries and approximately 200 handcrafted beers available for sampling. Plus, returning for the third year is the festival's opening night event "Partners in Craft." Held on Friday, September 27, the intimate evening event features a unique lineup of Texas collaboration beers, live music, local food vendors, artisans curated by Austin Flea, and a beautiful view of sunset on Lady Bird Lake.

    Guzu Gallery: History of Horror

A veritable coven of 28 talented artists usher in the season of the witch with a terrifying new art show as that robust and graphics-forward gallery next to Austin Books & Comics pays respects to the spirits of yesteryear and the recent past – with more than 35 new works inspired by icons from the last 100 years of the horror genre. Bonus: The dark ambient electronics of Brandon Lynch will imbue the opening reception with foreboding textures and tones. And no one – no one – will say the word "spooktacular."
