But you knew that already, right? That
Sean Gaulager's
main curatorial project and long-missed gallery has finally made it through the grueling City of Austin permit process and all that rigmarole and is almost completely back to its former daunting schedule of
exhibitions and
community-based interactions and so on? In that
Springdale General complex, no less. The current show, "Lines Composed During a Tour," featuring works by
Sara Vanderbeek,
Andy Coolquitt,
Kristi Kongi, and
Erin Curtis, and curated by Gaulager and
Leslie Moody Castro, closes on
Sat., March 30. Next up is
Anika Cartterfield's "Grounded in Culver," which is
opening on
Sat., March 30, 5pm in
the alternate Co-Lab venue at 5419 Glissman. And then, on
April 6 – well, we'll be telling you about that soon enough. Shit is getting more real again; let's celebrate.
