    Big Medium: Happiness Is a Journey

    This exhibition chronicles the daily life and art of Bear Lopez, East Austin resident of 60 years, a steadfast witness to the transformation and gentrification of our city's sunrise side. Artists Ivete Lucas and Patrick Bresnan met Bear at the Austin American-Statesman’s printing warehouse where Lopez has been working for more than 20 years without a single day off, delivering papers.

    Dragula Season 3 Viewing Party

    Are ya ready for this? The Children of the Corn – er the Haus of Purchase are hosting weekly watch parties in honor of our horror goddess Louisianna Purchase. Better be there cuz rumor has it Miss LP will pop in some weeks to spill a lil tea behind the scenes. 18 and up to watch party.

    Step into your worst nightmare at this fright farm in North Austin. Known for its high production values and immersive scare tactics, this is one up from watching horror movies all month. New this year are outdoor horror screenings for those who enjoy their spine tingling in fear.

    Punch Comedy

    That's right, Matt Bearden's legendary Tuesday night comedy showcase returns for another year of highlighting the best talent in town. Not sure who's on the lineup – it changes from week to week, of course, and is sharply curated – but there's always Bearden, of course, and a bunch of people who can make you laugh yourself to shambles. Word to the wise: This gig sells out like whoa, so reserve tickets early.
