    Walk to Cure Arthritis

    An event to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for the over 600 million adults and 300,000 children in America who suffer from arthritis. Community health care leaders will speak, arthritis warriors will share stories, and there will be educational tents and fun activities. A 1-mile walk starts at 10am.
    Sat., Oct. 22, 8:30am-1pm. Free; donations accepted.

    Wish Upon a Smile Gala

    For 36 years, the Austin Smiles team has served as ambassadors of hope for over 5,000 children and adults in Central Texas and Latin America born with cleft lip and palate, giving them a chance at a healthy, happy, and inclusive future by providing life-changing surgical and post-surgical care. Their annual benefit gala starts with the famously spectacular sunset views of the Oasis, and the night under the stars features music from Tomar & the FCs and fabulous live and silent auction packages.
