    Denise Hernández is running to be the next judge of County Court at Law No. 6. If elected, Hernández would be the first openly gay woman to serve on a misdemeanor county court bench in Travis County.

    Austin LGBT Chamber Holiday Toy Drive

    Austin’s queer business chamber hosts its annual drive for new (and unwrapped) toys, clothing, and shoes for local children. Donations will go to children and families enrolled in LifeWorks programs and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Travis County programs. See here for a list of drop-off locations and suggested donations.
