A collaborative photography show curated by Bianca and Riel Sturchio of 18 artists from Austin and its surrounding area. Focused on LGBTQ, chronically ill, disabled, and neurodivergent identities, ISYSM "embraces alternative approaches to photography through modes of making that honor the grit, the grime, the queer, the accidental, the immediacy, the power, and the magical potentialities of analog photography."
Here's an exhibition of new drawings by Simon Haas – the artist's first solo project with the gallery – featuring his newest graphite drawings on panel, each of a glory hole offering a tight view at a carefully rendered cock, a peeping eyeball, a pair of solicitous fingers, a slightly parted mouth, or a deep, dark (empty?) void.
Crack open a new queer lit section every month with the Little Gay Book Club, a subscription-based "community of booklovers and bibliophiles that share in our passion for reading through conversations, monthly meetings, and events." Meetings are available virtually and in-person.
