  • Into the Ether

    An investigation of embodiment and our virtual identity, In the Ether by Erica Gionfriddo (ARCOS) is a staged rehearsal of possible cyborg realities. Utilizing live streaming, emergent technologies and performance, In the Ether explores elements of cyborg and queer theories by challenging our core notions of perception and existence in a cybernetic world.

      "We'll Just Rock For Ourselves" Virtual Exhibit

      The Austin History Center's phenomenal 2018 exhibit on the late photographer Lisa Davis is now available online for your viewing pleasure. Davis' photos and videos capture the grrrls grrrls grrrls of Austin's lezzie rock scene in the Nineties.       Gay Chorus Deep South (2019)

      Rodrigues’ award-winning doc chronicles the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus’ 2017 Lavender Pen tour through the Deep South.       In order to help the community stay connected during this stressful time, Out Youth's Operations & Programs Director Kathryn Gonzales is hosting a nightly, virtual story time. LGBTQIA folks of all ages are invited to join via a mobile device, computer, or by calling in. Currently, Gonzales is reading Benjamin Alire Sáenz's Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.
