    Best Comedy on Airport

There's Sugar Water Purple on Wednesday nights – look, we reviewed their show right here. And this Thursday features improv supergroup Friends for Now and the Pendulum Presents sketch show, with Friday bringing you those Prima Doñas, right before the laser-sharp ladies of Loverboy, the Live at ColdTowne stand-up showcase, and Improvised Reality. Saturday is, like, resplendent with Stephanie Thoreson's character-driven solo show Fishbowl, followed by The Rose: Trouble in Paradise, then another comedy upheaval of Riot Society, and – oh, see website for more!

    Lazarus Gets Licked

We can barely count all the local craft-beer venues ’round these here parts nowadays (although check this out), but we reckon there’s only one – Lazarus Brewing Company on East Sixth – that’s got the Barb scoop truck from Lick Honest Ice Creams parked at its venue all summer long. The Lick crew will be there from noon ’til at least 9pm every day but Tuesday, dishing up a flotilla of new flavors (we’re especially gaga over that blackberry, lime, and basil concoction) to accompany all those lovely Lazarus brews.

    Underground Comedy

This newly revitalized basement venue is dedicated to "bringing the best in alternative comedy with shows seven nights a week." For instance: Monday starts things off with that sprightly revue of optimism called Fuck This Week, there's Rob Gagnon's unpredictable Sandbox on Tuesdays, the all-female comedy showcase called Garage on Wednesdays, and check out the live podcast of Comedy Wham with Aaron Brooks and friends this Thursday. Then, on Friday, you can discover just how Comics Aren't Cool – and don't miss the inarguable power of Sure Thing hosted by Duncan Carson and Brendan K. O’Grady. Saturday's got the conspiracied-up Psychosphere ready for you, Mr. Jones, followed by some story-centered Sweet Lightning, and – see website for more. Oh, wait, is that goddam Brenner gonna be part of Saturday's Sweet Lightning gig this week? Should we, like, at least mention that or nah?
