Sir Doug's Thanksgiving Jam w/ Carolyn Wonderland, Warren Hood, Kevin Galloway, Joe Faulhaber, Joe Beckham, Billy Broome, Sweet Mary, Cleve Hattersley, Kevin Lance, Geoff Queen, Dan Walton, Ben Ballinger, Sophia Johnson, Lucas Hudgins, & more

When the Grateful Dead rolled through Austin in November 1972, Eddie Wilson opened the Armadillo early on Thanksgiving for a surprise jam with Doug Sahm leading Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Leon Russell, and a cast of Austin players. As Wilson’s Threadgill’s prepares its final plates, local slingers including Billy Broome, Carolyn Wonderland, Warren Hood, Cleve and Sweet Mary Hattersley, etc., re-create that magic holiday. – Doug Freeman
