Producing your favorite indie bops (Carly Rae Jepsen, Haim, Frank Ocean) and sonic wizard behind Vampire Weekend, Rostam Batmanglij went solo in 2016 with atmospheric heartbreak single “Gravity Don’t Pull Me.” Joint folk/rock album, I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, with Hamilton Leithauser followed, then solo full-length Half-Light dropped last year.
