Oliver Rajamani, Cindy Cashdollar

UT boasts the world’s largest archive of Romani culture, which is alive and well in Austin. Combining to unfurl a singular Tex-Romani sound, celebrated Austinite Oliver Rajamani breathes an evocatively rhythmic Texas Gypsy Fire, accentuated by ex-longtime local Cashdollar’s incomparable steel and dobro that landed her five Grammys and a plaque in the Texas Music HoF. – Doug Freeman
