JM Stevens (album release), Lou Ann Barton

Stepping out from Moonlight Towers, frontman JM Stevens’ debut LP Invisible Lines ricochets Tom Petty rock with a power-pop heart. The album unpacks personally by confronting trauma from a teenage near-death experience and his recent divorce, but also bursts with hooks and sharp melodies. Blues chanteuse Lou Ann Barton opens. – Doug Freeman
