International Music Festival w/ Batuque Raiz, Austin Polka Band, Los Bohemios Perdidos, members of Atash, & more

Now in its seventh year, the two-day IMF whirls global groove without ever leaving Austin. Expect percussion from Brazilian drum armada Batuque Raiz and West African rhythm junkies Bramaya. Panpipe posse Kunitan blows traditional Andean, the Flying Balalaika Brothers barrel down the gypsy roads of Russia, and Ustad Amzad Rahman and Indrajit Banerjee duel sitars. Also, as advertised: Austin Polka Band and Nueva Canción Social Latinoamericana. – Thomas Fawcett
