Emma Ruth Rundle, Jaye Jayle, Deep Cross

Kentucky’s finest brooders, Rundle and Jayle, converge once more after 2017’s split EP The Time Between Us. 2018 prompted a solo album from each, Rundle’s On Dark Horses offering a thundering album with underpinnings of Americana and Jayle’s No Trail and Other Unholy Paths dropping eight fuzzy, gothic tracks with gravelly vocals. Together, the two make music – and a show – that’s dark, heavy, and sexy. Deep Cross opens. – Hannah Wisterman
