    Katie Von Schleicher, Jana Horn

On 2015’s Bleaksploitation, Brooklyn avant-pop artist Katie Von Schleicher debuted a creaky, dark sensibility, matched by a penchant for 4-track captures. Building on last year’s alluringly ramshackle Shitty Hits, fresh EP Glad To Be Here finds the singer strident and a bit sunnier, shadowy idiosyncrasies included. Ethereal Austin songwriter Jana Horn sparks the evening with dusky, vocal-led gems. – Rachel Rascoe
