    Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Say what you will about Britpop’s anthemic sibling rivalry Oasis, but elder Gallagher brother Noel’s new LP Who Built the Moon? is a majestic mélange of Primal Scream-esque psychedelia, maximum rock & roll, and electro-enhanced beats. Original Oasis guitarist Gem Archer’s on board, as is monster drum godhead Chris Sharrock, who employs wholly newfound avenues to fracture your sternum. Singles “Fort Knox” and “Holy Mountain” blaze newfound T-Rex trails that should inspire an entire reconsideration of what “Brit-pop” means.
