Now here's the 40th annual ArmadilloCon, that Austin-based celebration of all things
skiffy and fantastic, literaturewise – although perforce partaking of other media as well, we reckon, the subculture having broken through the ghetto walls and overrun the city of screens,
away from the terrifying weaponry, out of the halls of vapor and light, much more commercially successful than, say, the man who
sold rope to the gnoles. We mean, it's a speculative-fiction convention that's focused on readers and writers, with
Deji Bryce Olukotun as chief guest of honor. Remember,
we pimped last year's iteration bigtime 'n' all?
