  • Laundry & Bourbon with Lonestar

Laundry and Bourbon with Lonestar, two companion one act plays set in backyards of a small Texas town. Three ladies come together to talk about their life's ups and downs. Lonestar follows the life of three small town boys and the events that have shaped them. Both shows give us highs & lows with humor spread around, for good measure.

      Cloud Tree: 50 for 50

The painter Prentiss Douthit presents a collection of 50 paintings and drawings that he's been sharing online, over the 50 days leading up to his 50th birthday. These works are a result of pandemic isolation and inspiration, all of the work continuing Douthit’s focus on our shared humanity by capturing and celebrating the fleeting moments of life. "I hope my paintings act as a reminder that the person we pass on the street or the woman sitting in the cafe all carry a direct link to you," the artist says. "We are all connected in the most primal, graceful, and spectacular ways."

      Dimension Gallery: Reflection Time

The good folks of Dimension Gallery – you know, right across Springdale from that naturally social-distanced and so-calming-to-visit Sculpture Park – have begun new artist-led partnerships with Austin's social justice advocates, and they're heralding that collaboration with a series of window displays by local artists. First up is Reflection Time by Ender Martos, a colorful installation designed to spark dialog around inclusion, collectivism, and our present time of reflection. Note: 50% of all sales from this exhibition will go to support JUST and their programs for low-income female entrepreneurs.
