Beatles Full Moon Concert in the Dark
On the April Full Moon, come set intentions and indulge in the mesmerizing allure of live acoustic music performed by world-class musicians, surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight. Blue Lapis Light: Beyond the Clouds
This latest spectacle of gravity-defying dance from Sally Jacques and her acclaimed cadre of aerialists will take place outside on Blue Lapis Light's three-acre property, for only 50 people each night. Plenty of room for safe distancing, and masks are (of course) required. This is a group show by relay, begun in July of 2020 as a method of socially distancing a community in the height of the pandemic: Artists took turns alone in the space, each adding to the exhibition. Tuesday Twilights: Murmur
Out at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, which is like an oasis of sparsely built and orchestrated wilderness right there on the edge of our city, Dawn Hewitt is producing a series of sound and movement wonderments on Tuesday nights that will delight your socially distant senses as the sun sets its blaze below the far horizon and you're out there in the midst of all of it. This first show called Murmur features performances by Alexa Capareda (with Brent Baldwin), Lisa del Rosario-Hueske (with Adam Bedell), Taryn Lavery (with Michael Brown), and Erica Saucedo (with Bonnie Cox).
