Cooking Solyanka Soup

You know we’re always pimping the diverse array of classes available at Central Market Cooking School or the Sustainable Food Center, and we do it for damned good reasons. But when it comes to learning how to properly prepare the brothy goodness called solyanka soup, we reckon there’s no better place to gain that knowledge than at Austin’s own Russian House. Especially since chef Vladimir Gribkov will teach you himself, and Varda Salkey will dish on the traditions and customs associated with the soup. And during it all? Vodka!
