    To honor the 20th anniversary of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the release of a gorgeous 4K remastering overseen by Peter Jackson, Alamo Drafthouse is reuniting Middle-earth’s finest for a cast reunion with three exclusive special post-screening conversations hosted by noted "Ring Nut" and Late Show host Stephen Colbert.

    Violet Crown RSVP Cinema

    After nearly a year of closure due to the pandemic, Violet Crown is ready to reopen with RSVP Cinema. You choose the film and rent the theatre for $50-100, then you'll get a ticket page for your guests. Bring-your-own-movie tickets are $5, Jukebox Cinema (curated classics) are $10, and new releases are $15. Food and beverage offerings are delivered to your own theatre for a truly VIP experience.

    A narrative created by weaving together parts of the 20,000 clips uploaded to YouTube by young Israelis visiting Poland to learn about the Holocaust. Presented by Austin Jewish Film Festival and Shalom Austin as part of their Yom HaShoa programs, and donations go to the Blue Card Fund, a nonprofit organization providing financial assistance to destitute Holocaust survivors in the U.S.
    April 3-10. Free, but donations appreciated.
