REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Tue., Aug. 6, 2002
Nine digital movies created by approximately 60 kids between the ages of 6-14 will debut at this Hollywood-style premiere. One of the films is titled "A Day in the Life of a Councilperson," and is a production that follows Council Member Raul Alvarez through a day at City Hall. Other film topics include jailbreaks, Halloween curses, and tough detectives. Limousines will transport the young film directors to the Camacho Center for a gala red-carpet entrance.
