Return of the Secaucus Seven

1980, R, 106 min. Directed by John Sayles. Starring Mark Arnott, Gordon Clapp, Maggie Cousineau, Adam Lefevre, Bruce MacDonald, Jean Passanante, Maggie Renzi, David Strathairn, Sayles.

REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Mon., April 1, 2002

With its story of a weekend reunion of college friends from the Sixties, Sayles' first film plays like a precursor to The Big Chill ñ albeit on a much smaller budget. These former student radicals gather and discover the changes that have occurred over the intervening years.
