Splice of Life: The Super-8 Documentary Festival is the Co-op’s first venture into the Super 8 documentary format. Presented will be a dozen films that seek to capture a detail or a “splice” of life on Super-8. Films run no more than four minutes with no more than four splices, and range in content from the poetic to the absurd, from the hilarious to the subtle. The screenings will include opening ambient projections by Co-op stalwarts Aaron Valdez and Jen Proctor.
