FutureFusion Salon teams the lo-fi, Super-8 folks at the Cinemaker Co-op with the all-digital Conduitfesters for an evening of showcases, demonstrations, drinks, and grub. No-budget filmmaking meets digital media production. Ben Davis of Conduit will present a mini-showcase of new works and hold a demonstration of new video tools in Adobe Premiere. Video capture, innovations in animation techniques, and desktop moviemaking wilil be discussed. Guest filmmaker Jay Robert Jennings will show clips from his new digital feature, Loan Shark, and demonstrate mini-DV. Digital media artist Josh Backjer will also discuss his work.
