Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters

1984, PG, 107 min. Directed by Ivan Reitman. Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, Annie Potts, Ernie Hudson.

REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Thu., July 22, 1999

The original Ghostbusters mined the comedy-horror genre way before it became the fashionably ironic and overused format it is today. The comedy here is solid-gold, Bill Murray is in peak form, and the effects are a lot of fun. Get slimed.
