Tromeo & Juliet

1996, NR, 102 min. Directed by Lloyd Kaufman. Starring Jane Jensen, Will Keenan, Valentine Miele, Lemmy.

Not reviewed at press time. Film company Troma Entertainment (the scrappy outfit behind such bad-taste spectacles as Chopper Chicks in Zombietown and Teenage Catgirls in Heat) takes on the Bard in this gross-out parody of his eternal romance. Expect a fair amount of vomit and dismemberment in this irreverent send-up of all things classic -- from literature to Hollywood.
