Viva Erotica

NR, 100 min. Directed by Derek Yee. Starring Leslie Cheung, Hsu Chi, Karen Joy Morris.

Not reviewed at press time. Living in Oblivion, Hong Kong style. This 1996 comedy follows a film director on the skids who's reduced to helming a “category three” sex film just to be able to work. But he can't resist trying to infuse his low-rent porno flick with the same mood lighting and kinetic visuals of his more artistic work.
