      Zach Person

Pupil of modern blues and axe mania, Zach Person manhandles music. On April’s eponymous LP, rock’s unbridled energy (“All Shook Up”), Americana’s mysticism (“Wanna Fly”), country’s pickin’ twang (“Carolina”), and even hip-hop electronic beats (“Send Me Away”) inform the young Texan’s playful permutation of classic genres. Moving past a 2016 stint on American Idol, the young Texan continues a Tuesday residency at the tony digs of wine-n-dine sophisticates Geraldine’s.
