  • 11th Annual Humanities Texas Holiday Book Fair

    Join Humanities Texas for its 11th Annual Holiday Book Fair where twenty-three noteworthy authors will visit with the public and sign copies of their latest books, which Humanities Texas will offer for purchase at a discounted price. Available titles include works of fiction and nonfiction, with selections for both adult and youth readers (Christmas presents galore!). The event is free and open to the public, with all proceeds from book sales benefiting Texas libraries.

    Austin Trail of Lights

    The Austin Trail of Lights has been an Austin tradition since 1965! Holiday light displays line a 2-mile trail through the park, and there are food trucks, live entertainment, and interactive activities.     2020 Point in Time Count Volunteers Needed

    ECHO is looking for 800 volunteers to make its annual count of everyone experiencing homelessness in Austin and Travis County a success. The 2020 count takes place Jan. 25. Anyone 18 or older can participate; volunteers will work in teams counting folks in their assigned area. Others can collect donations for the care packages distributed during the count.
