    Do you take your pro wrestling seriously? Well, this might not be the event for you then. The emphasis is on the party at this event as wrestlers like the Dumpster Babes, the Mad Bladder, Big Daddy Bolero, and others go head to head. Drink enough beer and you could fall down as many times as the athletes in the ring.

    Summer Soccer Viewings at Native

    Native Hostel is kicking off its summer of soccer with viewings of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup from Fri., June 7, through the last game on Sun., July 7, with special showings for U.S. and Mexico games TBA. Beginning on Fri., June 14, Native will also be showing the 2019 Copa América and the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup games. Bonus: Austin FC will be at Native with prizes for select matches, and a portion of the proceeds from drink specials will benefit local youth soccer program Upper Ninety.

    2K Freedom Run/Walk

    Part of Austin’s Juneteenth events commemorating slavery being abolished in Texas in 1865, when the announcement finally reached the Lone Star State. So put your walking shoes on for a short fundraiser lap down the historic Juneteenth Parade route to support the Greater East Austin Youth Association. For more info on getting outside for a cause see our blog.
