    Seventy years after the luxury liner sank in the Atlantic more than 150 items from the wreck were brought up from the ocean floor and brought together for this fascinating show. Timed tickets are required.

    Repairs to Balmorhea Pool Set to Begin

    Critical repairs to the world’s largest spring-fed swimming pool are about to begin and the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation is seeking donations to help cover the estimated $2 million project. The park remains open for day-use with limited facilities.

    Sea turtle nesting season on the Texas coast has officially begun. If you see a sea turtle heading for the dunes, a nest, or even the distinctive tracks, call the hotline so a trained volunteer can protect the site.
