    ArtConnect Youth Art Contest

    The city's fourth annual contest is open now for submissions from Austin students ages 10 to 18. In honor of Digital Inclusion Week (Oct. 2-6), young artists are asked to "picture a world where everyone is connected digitally." The top three entries win a monetary prize and will have their artwork displayed in city spaces.
    Deadline: Thu., Aug. 31

    Community Hours at Thinkery

    Thinkery provides admission by donation as part of its Open Door Initiative, created to give every child a chance to explore STEAM concepts and develop a lifelong love of learning, regardless of means.
    Sundays, 3-5pm; Tuesdays, 3-7pm
