    ArtConnect Youth Art Contest

    The city's fourth annual contest is open now for submissions from Austin students ages 10 to 18. In honor of Digital Inclusion Week (Oct. 2-6), young artists are asked to "picture a world where everyone is connected digitally." The top three entries win a monetary prize and will have their artwork displayed in city spaces.

    Family Guide: Drawing the Motion Picture

    Visiting the Harry Ransom Center with kids? Ask for a family guide at the Visitor Services desk, designed to enrich children's experience of the current exhibit, "Drawing the Motion Picture," perfect for budding filmmakers and curious minds.

    Middle School Sex Ed Summer Camp/Campamento de Verano de Educación Sexual de Escuela Secundaria

    Middle school can mean a lot of changes! Middle schoolers' bodies change, they explore their identity, and their social lives become more important than ever. Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas’ sex ed summer camp is here to help. Highly trained educators will make it easy and fun, covering all the bases over four days. Attendees making it to all four days get a $50 Visa gift card as a special bonus.
    July 11-14, 8:30am-12:30pm. Free.
