    Jester King Kite Festival

    Bring kites and fly them high in the pasture all day, and they'll have prizes for oldest and youngest fliers and biggest and smallest kites. If you don't BYOK, you can buy a paper one and decorate it with provided art supplies, and they'll have a bouncy house and face painting too.

    Join CP mascot pup Mischa on a hunt through parks, complete tasks at your own pace, and submit photos to win a prize. Look for scavenger hunt signs at eight locations around Cedar Park and get all the details online.

    Thinkery provides admission by donation as part of its Open Door Initiative, created to give every child a chance to explore STEAM concepts and develop a lifelong love of learning, regardless of means.

    Drawing & Painting Classes for Kids

    Calling all mini Monets! Registration is now open for afterschool and weekend art classes with professional artist and educator Amanda Jones, teaching students ages 8-18. Professional illustrator Carly Dennis also offers a special weekly class for younger artists.

    Art Garage is now registering students for eight- to 12-week classes this fall, which allow your kiddos ages 4-16 to explore several art mediums with certified art educators at afterschool and home school sessions.
    Classes begin Sept. 12. $350-550.

    Young pickleball players can choose a course based on skill level to build a strong foundation or hone skills for competition.
