Local teachers are using the platform Outschool to reach more students to educate about Black history. Check out the many, many activities and classes online by searching "Black History Month" and sort by age group, date, and more.
Enrollment is open and ongoing for this free bilingual afterschool club for all girls age 9-14, which includes fun, educational activities with technology and media.
Dougherty Arts Center's afterschool program is held over Zoom so students ages 5-12 can connect with others, socialize with peers, and flex their creative skills under the guidance of arts instructors.

Austin's premier children's museum is finally reopening to the public after a long hiatus. Capacity will be extremely limited and masks must be worn by anyone over the age of 2, and opening hours are limited to Fri.-Sun. for now. Baby Bloomers, a special session for toddlers, also returns: Saturdays, 9-11am.
The Austin Yacht Club's Junior Sailing Program provides the opportunity for youth to develop the skills and confidence necessary to spark a life-long love of the sport. Register now for spring sessions beginning in March.
