Harmful Algae Warning
The Watershed Protection Department warns that harmful algae was detected at Red Bud Isle on May 30, and has been found in Lady Bird Lake, Lake Austin, and Barton Creek in the past. They advise that people and pets should always avoid swimming in areas with algae or in water that is warm, stagnant, or has scum or film.
