  • The Amazing Acro-Cats: Keep It Weird in Austin!

    The Acro-Cats tour supports Rock Cats Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Rock Cats Rescue is focused on saving cats "One Click at a Time" through cat welfare, rescue, and adoption. The Acro-Cats show promotes the importance of bonding and training cats with positive reinforcement, while also finding homes for rescued cats.

    "Les Diners de Gala" by Salvador Dalí

    The Spanish surrealist painter illustrated the cookbook Gala’s Dinners in 1973 that included 136 recipes by French chefs. This traveling exhibit features 12 lithographs that were released in conjunction with the book and are some of his most unique experimental prints.

    The Austin Humane Society and Roger Beasley Mazda are teaming up to celebrate two major milestones with their annual raffle: AHS will celebrate its 70th anniversary, and RBM will celebrate its 50th anniversary, so they’re “Wheelin’ in the Years” and raffling off a beautiful Mazda 2021 MX-5 Miata Grand Touring convertible. Each ticket purchase provides one night of safe and warm shelter, nutritious food, quality medical care, and lots of love for a cat or dog who is waiting to find a home. Raffle ticket purchases must be made by a Texas resident over 18.

    Sienna Star Local Musician Contest

    New luxury apartment community Sienna at the Thompson is seeking its inaugural musician-in-residence, and all local musicians are welcome to apply by uploading a one-minute video on FB or Instagram using the hashtag #siennastar. Finalists perform at a concert emceed by Anne Hudson, and the winner gets a year of free rent in exchange for 25 hours per month of live performance and creative content. This place is deee-luxe, with rents starting at around $2,300, so the winner will be living like a rock star.
