    Learn about astronomy at Girlstart's mini planetarium and participate in related hands-on activities. For safety, masks are required, and activities will be done in the backyard as one family at a time enters the planetarium. Spots are limited, and available from 5-6 and 6-7pm.

It will be on view for a year along with the permanent collection that includes artifacts from La Belle, the French ship discovered in Matagorda Bay; the story of ranching on the coast; and more than 13,000 years of Texas history.

    YMCA Early Learning Readiness Program

    A free community program for qualifying low-income families that focuses on preparing children ages 2-4 for school, while providing their caregivers with the tools to facilitate their child’s development. Classes are offered twice a week in English and Spanish and last one hour.
