    Flight of the Bats

    The bats have returned to the 350-foot-deep cavern three hours from Austin. Evening tours of the bat emergence have begun with social distancing. Reservations required.

    Hope Food Pantry Distribution

    Hope Food Pantry has partnered with Good Apple LLC to begin delivery of pantry items to qualified families, and those interested can get information and apply online. However, anyone in need is welcome to visit the pantry during distribution hours to pick up pre-packed bags of staple items curbside.

    World War II Educational YouTube Series for Students

    The National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg recently launched a new YouTube series called Nimitz Minitz which brings the museum’s mission online via educational exploration for youth. Nimitz Minitz are short videos geared toward elementary and middle school students and are posted on the museum’s channel twice a week.
    Tuesdays and Thursdays. Free.
