    Austin Record Convention

    Dealers, collectors, and aficionados gather to share vinyl, CDs, cassettes, posters, shirts, and other music memorabilia from hundreds of vendors. Early-bird shoppers get a day of early access Friday as well as early admission on Saturday and Sunday.

    Lone Star Zine Fest

    Back for its seventh year in the spacious Blue Genie spot, the fest is fun for all ages and will offer over 100 zine creators, collectives, distributors, retailers, libraries, and small presses showcasing their amazing work. Get in on the fun at the Zine Creation Station, and come in costume if you'd like to lean into the Halloween/goth theme!

    2023 Legacy Business Month

    Preservation Austin's inaugural Legacy Business Month is designed to encourage Austinites to celebrate and support the institutions that define so much of Austin’s culture. Pick up a passport to guide your way through 13 local businesses that have been in operation for 20 years or more, such as Peter Pan Mini-Golf, the Paramount Theatre, and Cisco’s, and show your love to some of Austin's most iconic treasures.

    Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival

    It's the third and final year for this family-friendly fest on the beautifully shaded farmstead, with tons of activities beyond the pumpkin patch: live music, shopping, art, games, a hay maze, armadillo races, camel and pony rides, a petting zoo, and so much more.

    Fresh for Less Mobile Markets

    This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks. Locations and schedules are subject to change, so check the current info online to find one near you.
