    Circus Day: Welcome Back Tiger's Blood!

    The origin of the flavor "Tiger's Blood" is a mystery, but its blend of watermelon, strawberry, and coconut flavors is a classic summer treat on a sno-cone. Celebrate Blue Owl Brewing's sour beer version of the flavor at this carnival-themed beer release party with carnival games, face painting, slushees, sno-cones, and more.

    The Bullock Museum is part of a collaboration of the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America, which means active duty military members and their families get free exhibit admission all summer, from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day.

    Fresh for Less Mobile Markets

    This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks. Locations and schedules are subject to change, so check the current info online to find one near you.

    Hotel Vegas Kennel Club's Yappy Hour Benefiting Austin Pets Alive!

    Bring your furry friend for a barking good time on the dog-friendly patio, where they'll pick a "pup of the month" to be showcased in June at the venue and on Instagram. Eastside Pop Up brings a curated market filled with dog-friendly vendors, and a portion of proceeds from featured drink purchases will go to APA!

    We Are Blood Giving Double Campaign

    Double your giving this month in one fell swoop: Blood and platelet donors at We Are Blood can choose either Central Texas Food Bank or Austin Humane Society as recipients of a $5 donation from WRB. As part of the campaign, they'll host blood drives at Austin Humane Society (124 W. Anderson, Thu., June 15, 11am-1:30pm) and at the Central Texas Food Bank (6500 Metropolis, Tue., June 20, 11am-2pm).
