    Austin Record Convention

    Audiophiles, head down to the largest sale of recorded music in the USA. From the 78s of the 1930s to CDs (and probably even a few 8-track tapes), there are over 1 million 78s, 45s, LPs, CDs, cassettes, posters, collectibles and music-related memorabilia available from over 300 different dealers.

      Austin Train Show

      Choo-choo! The Austin Train Show celebrates 50 years of fun for railroad fans of all ages. Enjoy over 25K square feet of operating model trains, including a railroad made entirely of Legos, and over 100 vendor tables with gear for kids, beginners, or the most devoted and advanced railroad enthusiast. Sponsored by the nonprofit Austin Model Railway Society.

      Bike Through History

      Visitors are welcome to bring their bike and "Ride Through History" to see an exhibit on the Iron Riders, Buffalo soldiers who tested the bicycle as a replacement for the horse in the U.S. Army, and a display of antique cycles and riders in costume, courtesy of the Wheelmen, a national cycling history organization.

      Blue Genie Art Bazaar's May Market

      We always shop Blue Genie Art Bazaar during the winter holiday season, but we don't have to wait seven more months! At this spring market, see the work of more than 100 regional artisans and craftspeople and pick up gifts for Mother's or Father's Day, graduation, weddings, or any other spring/summer occasion. Raffles, samples, and demos will be offered throughout the show.

      Fresh for Less Mobile Markets

      This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks. Locations and schedules are subject to change, so check the current info online to find one near you.
