AHS Car Raffle
The Austin Humane Society and Roger Beasley Mazda are teaming up to celebrate two major milestones with their annual raffle: AHS will celebrate its 70th anniversary, and RBM will celebrate its 50th anniversary, so they’re “Wheelin’ in the Years” and raffling off a beautiful Mazda 2021 MX-5 Miata Grand Touring convertible. Each ticket purchase provides one night of safe and warm shelter, nutritious food, quality medical care, and lots of love for a cat or dog who is waiting to find a home. Sienna Star Local Musician Contest
New luxury apartment community Sienna at the Thompson is seeking its inaugural musician-in-residence, and all local musicians are welcome to apply by uploading a one-minute video on FB or Instagram using the hashtag #siennastar. Finalists perform at a concert emceed by Anne Hudson, and the winner gets a year of free rent in exchange for 25 hours per month of live performance and creative content.
