    Beyond the Square

    Presented by Six Square, Austin’s Black cultural district, a multi-day festival highlighting the multifaceted talent of Black creatives, with a special focus on Black Music Month. Friday features a mural unveiling with music and an artist talk; Saturday there's a big concert and Black-owned food trucks; and Sunday morning, take a Black history bike tour around the district.

    Conscious Closet Pop-Up

    A pop-up donation drive to give clothes a new life, where all donations benefit local nonprofits Casa Marianella and Magpies & Peacocks, who can either upcycle old clothing or textiles or take donations. See the event page for specific needs and requests.

    Pond "a-fish-ionados" are welcome to tour spectacular local gardens, streams, waterfalls, and ponds, including a stunning night pond. Saturday features the south side and Sunday the north.

    Take a journey through time exploring the hidden clues of Austin with Escape the Box, an outdoor guided tour, scavenger hunt, and escape game all in one!     The city of Austin invites community members to help create a new historic preservation plan that is inclusive, equity-focused, and community-oriented. Interested in local heritage? Apply to join the project working group, which will meet 10-12 times over the next year to draft the plan. Compensation is available for group members who need financial support to participate.
