    2021 Bowl for Kids

    Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas is bringing glitz and glamour to their annual fundraiser. The goal is to raise funds to put 80 kids into a caring match with an adult mentor, and you can participate from home by donating, forming or joining a fundraising team, and via online activities including a "Golden Age of Hollywood" costume contest.

    The story of Václav Havel’s journey from celebrated playwright to banned and jailed human rights activist to president of Czechoslovakia. It's the opening screening for Czech That Film Texas, and the festival continues on Tuesdays through April 27. Note: Originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, and rescheduled due to high winds.

    Vehicle Registration Deadline Approaches

    The grace period for vehicle registration renewal and title applications will soon end, and missing the deadline can result in costly fines. If you've postponed these activities due to the pandemic, now is the time to act: Get your vehicle inspected and renew online at Texas.gov, or bring your DMV renewal form, passing inspection, insurance card, and payment to H-E-B, Fiesta Mart, or AAA. Title applications require appointments to be made at the Travis County Tax Office, and they fill up fast, so don't wait!
