    Workshop: Prevent Trafficking and Exploitation

    Customized Face Masks for Repeat Blood Donors

    We Are Blood will reward all donors who participate in their Platelet Step-Up campaign with a custom “Platelet Donor” face mask. Anyone who donates platelets twice in March will receive their own We Are Blood face mask with a limited edition design. Unlike whole blood, platelets may be donated every 10 days. Platelets play a crucial role in clotting and help control bleeding, which can save lives in a crisis situation.

    Homeowners and renters who suffered damage due to the winter storm may apply for assistance from FEMA. If you have insurance and are applying for disaster assistance, you must also file a claim with your insurance company as soon as possible; if insurance does not cover all your damage, you may be eligible for federal assistance.: Take photos and keep receipts for related expenses, and apply online or call 800/621-3362.

    United Way of Williamson County's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance is offering free drop-off/pickup tax preparation service by appointment only. IRS-certified tax preparers will provide assistance to households earning $57,000 or less annually and to older adults of all income levels, and services are available in English and Spanish.
