    Mardi Gras Masquerade Faire

    There's an artisan and craft fair with live music. You can visit each booth and collect beads; hosts will provide complimentary chichory flavored Cafe Du Monde Coffee and powder-coated beignets. There's an arts & crafts table for the kids to make their own masks and beads, and a costume contest – so dress to impress. Proceeds go to AustinWerks, a nonprofit helping out those in need with housing.

    Sunshine Community Gardens Annual Plant Sale

    Sunshine is located on the campus of Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, offering local residents a space to grow their own vegetables and flowers. Proceeds from the annual sale are put back toward maintaining the space. You'll have a chance to talk with vendors, tour the gardens, visit the chickens, and kids can pick their own carrots.
