Identity: An Evening of Art, Education, and Multicultural Community
This event is sure to have something for everyone: a photography exhibit, a documentary short screening, DJ collective Chulita Vinyl Club, local food & drinks, and pop-up vendors including the Frida Friday ATX market. Proceeds go to GirlForward, a nonprofit providing resources to displaced immigrant high school girls. Tickets will not be available at the door so be sure to purchase in advance!Wed., Aug. 15, 6-9pm. $25.

AAC Summer Camp for Shelter Dogs
The Austin Animal Center needs foster parents for its summer camp program to give dogs a break from the shelter life. You don't have to have foster experience, but they do ask that you sign on for two weeks.Pickup is open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, 11am-7pm. Free. -
