We are still contending with the fallout from the recent ice storm. You can be part of the winter weather response and help our community recover by volunteering, making donations, and sharing information. Those needing assistance with food, debris cleanup, emergency shelter, and more can find resources on the city's site or by calling 311.
If your home or business is in need of emergency repairs due to the recent storm, work can begin immediately. The Development Services Department will work with you to retroactively permit and inspect all emergency repairs to ensure work was completed safely. If you are removing fallen limbs or trees, take photos and document the estimated diameter and size of the tree for documentation, and contact Austin Energy immediately if anything has fallen on a power line.
